The mission of the Saffell Street Elementary School Community is to provide a safe, warm, and loving environment where each student’s individual learning needs will be addressed through proven academic and extra-curricular programs. The staff is dedicated to working together and in concert with parents to ensure that positive learning experiences are made available using multiple strategies and resources in all curricular areas including technology, arts and humanities, and physical education. The Saffell Street Elementary Community accepts the responsibility to prepare our students to be successful in future education endeavors, to become life-long learners and contributing members of our society.

The vision of Saffell Street Elementary is to prepare students to have a positive-self image, to be critical, independent thinkers, to be well founded in the basic skills, and to apply their academic knowledge to life through the development and implementation of programs utilizing the education, parent, and business communities.
