Choir News

Our Turner Choir will be starting on September 15th. Choir rehearsals are on Thursdays from 2:20-2:50 during the school day. Auditions will be held on Thursday September 8th at 2:15.

What are the audition procedures? All students in 4th or 5th grade that wish to audition are eligible. The students will be expected to sing "Happy Birthday" while I play the melody on the piano. They will also be asked to sing a scale correctly acapella. Tonal memory will also be tested during the audition process. I will score auditions based on articulation, accuracy and expression. There will be twenty total choir members for the 2011-2012 year. With around ten members returning from last year.
