My name is Mrs. Lauren Koeller! I teach Economics and AP US History. I look forward to getting to know you!
A little bit about myself: I graduated from ACHS in 2013, and then went to Eastern Kentucky University where I graduated with a History Teaching degree in 2016. At EKU I met and married my husband, Jordan. I started teaching at ACHS in 2017, and completed my Masters of Education from Midway University in 2019. In May 2020, we had our first child, a baby boy named Jude Alexander.
My favorite topics to teach include the Cold War, fiscal and monetary policy, and anything to do with the modern American Presidency. My favorite president is Abraham Lincoln. Through the study of Social Studies I hope you will better understand the world we are living in and how you can play a part in making history!
