The 2016 Unbridled Learning state accountability results were released this week, and Emma B Ward Elementary received the prestigious “School of Distinction” status. The state’s Unbridled Learning model evaluates schools and districts using data from the K-PREP assessment.
Emma B Ward has earned the classification of Distinguished and Progressing for the second year in a row. The school saw a gain of 7.2 points from the prior 14-15 school year. Principal Bobby Murphy reported he was "elated and so proud of our students, staff, parents, and district community." He continued, "It takes a village and we're going to relentlessly prioritize our areas of growth in order to continue best meeting the needs of all learners... no excuses, no exceptions. Our goal for next year is to top ourselves. We didn't come this far to only come this far... #WeAreWard."
It is clear that EBW is making substantial annual progress in ensuring high levels of learning for all as they continue their pursuit of excellence.
