The Sparrow Early Childhood Center (SECC) is very excited to announce the addition of the Bearcub Learning Academy. Through Kentucky’s Preschool Partnership Grant, the Bearcub Learning Academy will allow SECC preschool students to have a full-day early childhood educational experience. Up to 40 SECC preschool students (20 AM students and 20 PM students) will have the opportunity to enroll in the Bearcub Learning Academy for the other half of their school day. The Bearcub Learning Academy will be housed within the SECC building and will be led by Ms. Randy Beasley and her Instructional Assistant, Ms. Marsha Hall. Ms. Randy is an IECE certified preschool teacher who has 13 years of experience within public preschool at SECC. She and Ms. Marsha are very excited to take on this new role with the Bearcub Learning Academy!
Pricing for the Bearcub Learning Academy:
- $200 per MONTH,
Monday-Thursday (school hours only)
- Optional after school and Friday care for an additional $70 per WEEK
o After school and Friday care is provided through
Anderson County Wraparound at Emma B. Ward Elementary

Please Note: Pricing for the Bearcub Learning Academy is separate from SECC’s preschool tuition program. SECC’s preschool tuition program is for those families whose child did not qualify for preschool but still wish to have their child attend. The pricing for the preschool tuition program will remain $200 per MONTH.
