ACHS Memorial for the National Guard

Students at Anderson County High School have spent the last 2 1/2 years working on a memorial in room 143, the Technology Education lab. This memorial features an almost life size helicopter painted on one wall, will an authentic main rotor blade suspended from the ceiling. The Americal flag is painted behind the helicopter, and a banner hanging from the wall features names of Kentucky National Guard soldiers that have been killed in the war in Iraq.
