Feeding All Kids Free – 2016 Summer Food Service Program
The Anderson County Board of Education is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability. 
Bearcat Day Surveys
We want your input! Anderson County administration is seeking input from you regarding Non Traditional Snow Day - Bearcat Day use for the 2016-2017 school year. The surveys will be posted on the Anderson County Schools website from Friday, April 29 until Tuesday, May 2nd. Paper surveys can be picked up at your Childs School or at the Anderson County Board office. Your input is valued and will be helpful as we work to make the best decisions for our students. Thank you in advance for your time and support. 
ACMS Athletic Participation Policy Stakeholder Survey
The ACMS SBDM Council was questioned about having 5th grade students participate in ACMS athletics. A committee was created to research and discuss the current policy which permits 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students enrolled at ACMS to participate in ACMS athletics. The committee is seeking input from all stakeholders to make an informed decision on a recommendation to the ACMS SBDM Council to keep the current policy or alter the current policy. 
RBT Staff featured in Kentucky Teacher
South Heights Elementary School (Henderson County) and Robert B. Turner Elementary School (Anderson County) were chosen as 2016 Model Schools by the International Center for Leadership in Education. 
Information Regarding Cancellation, Delays, and Early Dismissal
Winter weather conditions sometimes prompt Anderson County Schools to alter routines or schedules in the district. All schedule changes due to inclement weather are posted on ACSchools.net as well as shared via Facebook , Twitter, and through the local media.

Anderson County school board saluted this month
Throughout this month of January, administrators, faculty, staff, students and community members of the Anderson County school district are publicly thanking the system’s elected board of education members during Kentucky’s observation of School Board Recognition Month. 
ACSchools Rank Among the Top in the State in Energy Efficiency
Anderson County Schools ranks ninth out of 173 Kentucky school districts in energy effeciency.
