School Closed Friday, October 19, 2018

Late Thursday evening, school district officials were alerted by the Kentucky State Police of a high potential possible, credible threat to a school system being investigated with ties to two central Kentucky counties, including Anderson. As a precautionary measure, Anderson County Schools will be closed today, Friday, October 19, 2018, as the KSP investigation is still ongoing. No staff or students are to report to any school. District officials will be monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates via one call, district website and social media as they are available. Thank you for supporting Anderson County Schools.

Note: Determination about extra-curricular events scheduled for Friday afternoon and evening will be made and communicated later in the day, once additional information is received from KSP.
